Be an RF Master

RF Master kits combine the great functionality of Bird's SiteHawk Cable & Antenna Analyzers and SignalHawk Spectrum Analzyers plus

  • a Bird RF power sensor for taking thruline power measurements
  • a Bird RF load for making terminated power measurements
  • a versatile adapter kit for almost any situation

all packaged into a single hard carrying case you can carry wherever your work takes you.

A Master Kit prepares you for any cable or antenna situation.

Full SiteHawk Functionality

Utilize the Measure/Match function to sweep your system to determine how well your components are matched, or Distance to Fault (DTF) to identify and locate poor connections, damaged cables, or faulty antennas.

Advanced Spectrum Analysis

The SignalHawk brings powerful spectrum visualization and measurements into the palm of your hand.

Precise Power Readings

Choose a kit with a power sensor that meets your desired power and frequency range. The RF Meter app included with your SiteHawk serves as the sensor UI and takes measurements.

SiteHawk

Cable & Antenna Analyzer

The Bird SiteHawk® gives you the power to find cable and antenna faults fast—without guesswork. Designed for field reliability and trusted by technicians around the globe, it puts simple, accurate diagnostics right in your hands, helping you fix problems quickly and keep critical operations online.

The only difference between SiteHawks is the maximum analysis frequency, being 6 GHz or 9 GHz for the SK-6000-TC or SK-9000-TC respectively.

Spectrum Analyzer

The Bird SignalHawk® Series provides real-time spectrum monitoring and analysis of the RF spectrum. The SH-60S covers frequencies from 9 kHz up to 6 GHz while the SH-75S covers up to 7.5 GHz. They combine best-in-class functionality with compact package, with all features accessible through an intuitive touchscreen user interface.

Base SignalHawks (-TC) bring the spectrum into your hand, ideal for basic measurement and analysis.

Angle of Arrival (-AOA) SignalHawks allow for interference hunting and more advanced spectrum measurements.

Pair your SiteHawk with a Sensor

Bird sensors are the standard for RF power measurement. Using the RF Meter app included with your SiteHawk and SignalHawk, your test kit allows you control and take measurements from any compatible Bird sensor, not just the one included with your kit.

Sensor Frequency Range Power Range
5017D 25 MHz to 1.0 GHz 500 mW to 500 W
5017D-AV 100 MHz - 1.3 GHz 500 mW to 500 W

Factory calibration is recommended for your Bird RF Power Sensor, SignalHawk, and SiteHawk calibration combo once per year. We recommend factory calibrating your SiteHawk at least once every 3 years. A factory calibration ensures all your equipment is working properly and is within specifications.

Save Time & Save Effort

A Bird RF Master Kit combines the cable and antenna analysis capabilities of the SiteHawk—measuring antenna match, determining cable loss, and identifying and locating faults with Distance-to-Fault—with the awesome visualization and analysis of the SignalHawk, plus commonly used adapters, an RF load, and an RF sensor for power measurement.

These essential capabilities prepare you to deal with just about any situation involving RF cables and antennas.
