Handheld RF Signal Generator

The GenHawk™ GH-60 allows truly portable RF signal generation from 100 MHz to 6 GHz, (optionally 300 kHz to 6.5 GHz). Included Continuous Wave (CW) output allows for simple test signals for antennas or RF systems while modulations easily replicate communication standards and real-world spectra so you can be assured of your device or system performance.

GenHawk is a versatile generator for testing in applications like receiver sensitivity, noise immunity, interference immunity, and more. With a base frequency range up to 6 GHz and 20 MHz modulation bandwidth (optionally 100 MHz), GenHawk supports emulating fundamental modulations like AM/FM and QPSK, as well as common standards like 5G, FDD/TDD-LTE, and LoRa.

Wide Dynamic Range

+15 dBm output power with a 145 dBm dynamic range allows you to emit signals over-the-air, or replicate weak reception.

Truly Portable

GenHawk uses the same durable handheld form factor as Bird's SiteHawk and SignalHawk families of Cable & Antenna Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzers.

Additive Noise/Pulse

Additive Signal options allow easy overlay of customizable noise to your signals for immunity testing.

Adaptable Performance

Bird Service recommends calibrating your GenHawk at least once every year. Calibration verifies performance is meeting specifications and ensures your unit is working properly.
