The 8792 Series is a compact, high-capacity RF load designed for continuous 80 kW broadband operation in transmitter and transmission line systems. With low VSWR and non-radiating performance, it ensures stable, reliable power dissipation across the band—while producing virtually no ambient heat.

RF energy is converted to heat inside a hollow resistive film element, which is directly cooled by internal water flow. This efficient thermal design allows installation in tight or thermally sensitive spaces, with flexible orientation and minimal footprint. The 6 1/8" EIA flange supports termination of full rated power up to 800 MHz, with operation requiring up to 12 GPM (45.6 L/min) of potable water.
