The Bird 8201 is a 500 Watt, oil-cooled RF load designed for medium-power testing from DC to 2.5 GHz. Its film-type resistor, immersed in dielectric coolant and housed in a tapered enclosure, provides a practically non-reflective 50-ohm termination for accurate, non-radiating transmitter testing.
Features include Quick-Change (QC) connectors, oil-assisted convection cooling, and a compact, bench-ready design for reliable use in demanding RF environments.
