High-Power RF Attenuator
Bird’s 8329-300 is an oil-cooled RF attenuator designed for continuous high-power operation from DC to 500 MHz. It handles up to 2 kW without external cooling and up to 4 kW when paired with a BA-300 blower assembly.
Available in multiple connector configurations for high-power RF testing, system integration, and equipment protection.
Choose the Right Power Configuration
The 8329-300 supports two continuous power levels depending on the cooling configuration. Choose based on the power requirements of your RF system.
2 kW | Oil-Cooled
8329-300
Best for: High-Power Operation Without a Blower
The oil-cooled 8329-300 handles up to 2 kW of continuous RF power without external forced-air cooling, providing a simpler configuration for high-power RF test and system applications.
4 kW | Oil + Forced-Air Cooled
8329-300 + BA-300 Blower
Best for: Higher-Power Continuous Operation
Adding the BA-300 blower increases cooling capacity, allowing the 8329-300 to handle up to 4 kW of continuous RF power for more demanding applications.
